IgnYte is a 6-week youth entrepreneurship programme for unemployed young people in the Drogheda area. Developed by Development Perspectives and The Mill, the programme will focus on entrepreneurial skills for those who wish to start their own business or develop a career pathway for themselves based on their passions and interests. The course which was due to begin on the 16th of October but unfortunately was delayed by the appearance of Storm Ophelia kicked off instead on Wednesday the 18th of October.
The project is being facilitated by Paul Crewe, Stephanie Kirwan, Dee Gavin and Gareth Conlon. Participants on the course come from a variety of backgrounds and stages in their idea development. Something we feel will only add to the richness of the programme.
Previous IgnYte participants have gone on to develop a wheelchair accessibility app and disability inclusion workshops and we’re excited to see what will come out of this latest edition.
