Three members of the DP team, Bobby McCormack, Stephanie Kirwan and Margaret Downey, visited Cape Town, South Africa to attend the third workshop in the GELP (Global Education Learning Platform) series in April. This study visit will focused on “Making the Invisible, Visible” – Critical Perspectives on Global Citizenship from the Global South.
The first two study visits took place in Benin and Czech Republic in late 2016 and the final one will take place later this year in France. GLEN is a network of non-governmental and governmental organisations as well as committed young people who are involved in global education. There are 10 members from ten countries from the European Union, Development Perspectives is the Irish partner.
